Do you know anything about a star wars event coming in May

Bright suns, Bernice, and welcome to planDisney! I've been a fan of the Star Wars universe for as long as I can remember, so I always keep my Jedi senses open for any disturbances in The Force at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm not saying I've gone over to the Dark Side, but I do enjoy hanging out at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge with the Storm Troopers!

As of now, Walt Disney World Resort doesn't have any scheduled Star Wars events in May. Disneyland Resort in California recently announced the return of the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nites in May, so maybe you intercepted that transmission. I'm a Florida resident, but that Star Wars Nite event might entice me to head to the west coast, Han Solo style, in less than 12 parsecs!

I'm keeping my eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements pertaining to Star Wars. Last year, they posted a series of activities on May 4 for Star Wars Day, so I'm hoping they do the same this year. Even if you're not at the parks, there might be online activities and videos that will immerse you in your own Star Wars story. And every day is Star Wars Day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you can visit Galaxy's Edge, Star Wars Launch Bay, experience Star Tours, or even book a passage on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

May the Force be with you, Bernice, and feel free to stop by planDisney anytime to talk about droids and Wookies!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

Meet the Panelist: Elaine, Florida

Bright Suns! I'm Elaine, a retired teacher dividing my time between my home state of Kentucky and the Sunshine State. I married my college sweetheart, and now that our only son is grown, we are exploring the empty-nest life. My family has been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for over 25 years, so if you have questions about adult-only visits, plant-based meals, thrill attractions, and Florida-resident perks, I'm here for you in full Force. Like Yoda would say, "Trips, we will plan!" Learn More About Elaine
