I know this was answered in the past, but can't find a recent mention of it - We are staying at POR in Aug and have 8:15 res at 1900 PF. MK doesn't open until 9. I read about a character bfast bus? Is that still a thing and if so, how does it work? Thx.

    Welcome back, Kathleen!

The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is a practically perfect choice!  I know you're going to have a wonderful meal and a very "Mary" time meeting the characters.  What a great way to start your day!

Yes, complimentary bus transportation to your morning breakfast reservation is still available from your Disney Resort hotel before the park buses begin running.  Unofficially known as "breakfast buses," these start as early as 6:30 a.m. to transport Guests to their morning meals.  I'd recommend stopping by the front desk at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside a day or two before the day of your breakfast reservation to find out exactly when and where you should catch that bus.  A Cast Member should be able to give you specifics and let you know what time to be waiting at the bus stop so that you arrive right on time for your reservation.

I hope that helps, Kathleen, and wishing you a most magical vacation!  We'd love to see you here again soon if you have any other questions as make your plans.
