One of the first things I do when planning a visit (at any time of year) is look for ways to save money! Seasonal discounts are usually available throughout the year. Money-saving deals for late fall and winter are usually released in early summer, with other deals coming later. I would begin searching for late-fall/early-winter deals in mid-to-late June and continue searching throughout the summer! The best place to find those deals is on the
Special Offers page of the Disney World website! If past practice is any indicator (and it usually is), that page will soon include offers for the holiday season! Deluxe resort hotels, such as
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, are usually included! And that is great news, because that hotel has one of the most beautiful Christmas trees on Disney property!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Tickets for this (very) popular annual holiday event typically go on sale in late June or July. Last year, tickets went on sale for Guests with existing Disney World reservations on July 16, 2025. Guests without existing reservations could purchase tickets a week later on July 22, 2025. Mickey hasn’t announced a sale date for 2026, but I expect an announcement soon! Check the Disney World website and the Disney Parks Blog in the coming days. We’re getting close to “Halfway to the Holidays,” and that’s normally when we get an announcement about the special holiday events Mickey is planning!
