    Hello. Is there any way to know ahead of time if blizzard beach will be back open by 3/11/23? If not, would it be better to get the plus ticket and cancel later or leave off and add it later if I can find out it will be open. Thanks

    Welcome to planDisney! My family and I are always planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Water Parks! Spending a day at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon is a fantastic way to relax and unwind after a few days at the theme parks! There are plenty of attractions for kids of all ages to enjoy, such as the lazy river or a myriad of water slides to choose from!

    Kelley, currently Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed for renovations. While initially expected to reopen in the Spring, it remains closed, and we are not sure when the expected reopening date will be. If you are planning to visit the theme parks, but Blizzard Beach has not reopened when you purchase your tickets, my suggestion is to purchase your tickets and add the Park Hopper Plus option when you arrive. You can also opt to purchase a Water Park ticket on the day you plan to visit, as a Disney Park Pass reservation is not required to enter the Water Parks.
