I know I can make my advance dining reservations 180 days before my trip; however, I've gotten conflicting information as to what time, on-line, the reservation window opens. I've heard 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Can you help clarify for me. Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Suzanne. I'm delighted to answer your question about advanced dining reservations. I can already smell the various delectable food offerings and feel the vibrant ambiance!

If booking online, advance reservation availability for restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort typically begins at approximately 5:45 AM Eastern Time up to 180 days prior to your vacation.

If you change your mind later, and decide that you prefer to make your advance dining reservations on phone, be aware that the Disney Reservation Center (find a phone directory here) is available from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. Eastern Time Mondays thru Fridays, and from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Saturdays and Sundays.

If you would like to book a dining event, you can do so beginning at 7:00 A.M. ET on the day it becomes available, so be on the look out for release dates.

Suzanne, I hope you find this information useful and remember that we'll be here with more planning tips.

    Happy Disney Dining!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
