Our kindergartener will be out of school to visit Disney World in April '08. Does Disney have an educational booklet that he can complete during our vacation, to show that the trip had educational value as well?

Although many people do pull their children out of school to visit Disney World (I've done it myself a few times), Disney really can't officially condone this. So, no, there is no official educational booklet.

But Disney does indeed offer a wealth of opportunities for learning. For some ideas of how to present this to your child's teacher, go to allearsnet.com and search for "activities for school aged children." You should be able to find a project there that your son can use to learn while on vacation.
