Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charisse!
Thank you for cruising by with a great transportation question. It sounds like you may have a high seas adventure with Captain Mickey on the horizon! I hope the days are passing quickly until you embark on your magical adventure.
Disney Cruise Line does offer
ground transportation from the Orlando International Airport or a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to
Port Canaveral on your embarkation day. You can add this option to your cruise reservation for an additional fee. I love the convenience of using Disney Cruise Line's motor coaches, especially that they handle my luggage and the driving! I can start my vacation the moment our motor coach leaves and settle in with some Disney cartoons as we head toward the coast!
If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or will not be at the Orlando International Airport on your embarkation day, there are other shuttle services between Orlando area hotels and the port. A quick internet search will return many options for you including Port Canaveral Shuttle Service and Orlando Port Canaveral Transportation. There are also private limo services and ride share companies that are available to get you to the port as well.
Before you head to the coast, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to countdown the days until you set sail as well as all of the
activities waiting for you once onboard! I hope I've steered you in the right direction as your race toward your high seas adventure.
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Charisse!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
