What kind of ID do you need to get a birthday pin? I also heard you can rent a boat for the fireworks in epcot. Please tell me more.

You don't need to show any sort of identification to get a free Disney birthday button. (These are different than the trading pins that are available for purchase.) Just go up to the Guest Relations Office at any of the theme parks and say you're celebrating a birthday. They'll be happy to give you a button. Sometimes the resort front desks and the regular ticket windows at the parks also have birthday buttons. If you're not near a Guest Relations Office, you can try that too.

There are several specialty cruises you can take at WDW. You may be thinking of the pontoon boats at the Epcot area resorts. These boats hold up to 10 guests and can be rented to cruise around Crescent Lake near Epcot during the evening Illuminations show. (You will not actually be IN Epcot.) From here, you will be able to see the Illuminations fireworks. For more information and pricing, you should call 407-WDW-PLAY.

    Have a magical trip!
