Ahoy, Terri!
Welcome back to planDisney! We are happy to hear from you again before you set sail this week on the beautiful
Disney Fantasy. A 4-night
Bahamian adventure on my favorite ship sounds like the perfect summer vacation to me. If you love a specialty coffee, be sure to stop by
Cove Café to treat yourself to a delicious beverage during your sailing. I love to sit by one of the huge porthole windows and sip on my coffee to start each day.
Terri, with two twenty-somethings, my family always needs lots of places to charge all the devices you listed in your question. And you want to make sure your phone is charged to keep the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app available throughout the cruise. On the Disney Fantasy, you'll find outlets for 110V/60Hz (US) and 220V (European). You'll want to double-check what your hair dryer needs as some do not work on the 110V, but a hair dryer will be in the vanity/desk drawer for you to use. My hair straightener does not work on board as it exceeds 110V. Speaking of the desk/vanity area, you'll find a few plugs there along with 2 USB-A plugs. One side of the bed has 1 US and European outlet. Since extension cords, powerstrips, and surge protectors fall on the
prohibited items list, I bring along a couple of those multiport power blocks that we can plug into the outlets for our USB-C devices. These seem to do the trick for all our charging needs.
Thank you again for sailing over, Terri. I hope your voyage with your favorite Disney pals is filled with loads of pixie dust. If you have any other last-minute questions, please let us know.
Bon voyage,
Nancy
