Hey, howdy, hey, David! Thanks for moseying by planDisney on the trail to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll arrive as quickly as my son can gobble
'Smores, so let's look at keeping you and your cowpokes caffeinated during your visit.
When I stayed at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort recently, I was blown away by the fabulous design of the new units. The cabins have an open feel with lots of light and living space. We especially loved having our morning "cuppa joe" at the picnic table on our deck. What a peaceful way to start the day.
But back to that coffee! Our cabin had a Keurig Duo Coffee Maker that could make a pot of drip coffee on one side or a single-serve K-Cup on the other. The coffee bar came stocked with pre-measured filter packs for the drip side and several single-serve K-Cups, too. We even had pods for hot tea! There were plenty of creamer cups, sugar, and artificial sweetener.
If you're staying several days at this or any Disney Resort Hotel, you can ask for a restock on any coffee supplies. Just call Housekeeping from your cabin or stop by the
Front Desk to make that request. I've also heard from friends that resorts sometimes offer dark roast coffee, so if that's your preference, it never hurts to ask.
Please keep in mind that amenities can vary within the same resort, and remodels and upgrades are ongoing. If the coffee maker isn't what you were expecting, please reach out to the Front Desk for options.
Although I had to convince my husband to
rent a golf cart, that was one of our favorite parts of our stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness. Tooling around on our trusty battery-powered steed made life at the fort so easy and fun. He finally admitted it was a good idea, to which I replied, "Yee-HAW!"
David, like the cowboys of old, I hope you get to enjoy some beans around the campfire... coffee beans, that is! Have a magical visit and stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
