Hi Kimberly, thank you. As I previously mentioned I am going to request a Pool View room. I would like a first level floor near the food courts, pool, and transportation but a little confused from the map.Giraffe or Zebra trail? Is the Mara close?

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for stopping back with your follow-up question about Guest rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I think you'll be happy with a Pool View room. I've stayed in this room category several times and have always found it to be pleasant (and much quieter than Pool View rooms at other resorts on property).

Pool View rooms in Giraffe Trail and Zebra Trail are close to the three restaurants and, of course, to the Uzima Pool. The Mara (quick service), Boma (African-inspired buffet) and Jiko (Signature dining) are all located on the ground floor just steps from the pool area. I would recommend that you request Giraffe Trail to be closest to bus transportation.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if I can assist you further as you continue to plan your trip.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
