Hi Nicole!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'll actually be running in the
Tinker Bell 10K this weekend dressed as Mr. Smee, so if you see me say hello!
The first thing I would recommend you do is sign up for
Runner Tracking for your family. This will send you text alerts and an approximate finish time so you have an idea of where they are and what time they'll be finishing.
Spectator Viewing will be allowed for the Tinker Bell 10K near the start in the Lilo Lot and close to the end on Resort Road, adjacent to Downtown Disney District. The rest of the course will be closed to runners since a lot of it is through the two parks! If you haven't done so yet, I'd check out the
Digital Event Guide for all the information you'll need for this weekend. The Spectator Viewing information is on page 25.
One of my favorite changes that runDisney has made in the past year is that they now include all race photos with PhotoPass! In my experience there is usually several photo points on the course, not to mention all the character photo opportunities. This is actually something that you'll set up after your family has finished their race. Photos usually populate within 24 hours. You'll visit
Disneyland.com/PhotoPass and enter in each of their race IDs. For the Tinker Bell 10K this will be 2017-TINK-10Kx-xxxx, where the Xs are their bib numbers. If their bib number is not 5 digits, please just use preceeding zeroes to fill out the code.
