My kids(17&9) and I are planning to go to all 4 parks in late June. AK is our first stop, I have never been to AK before. I was wondering what things I should see/do, and what my kids would enjoy considering thier ages. And what is Ms.DeVine?

Hey there, Jersey girl!  I went right to the source for you on this one, and talked to my 17 and eight year old daughters.  The not to miss attractions at Animal Kingdom for them include Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safari.  Not to miss for their mother is the Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough To Be a Bug in the Tree of Life.  I drag the kids with me because, well, I'm paying for the vacation and I'm the mom.

DiVine is a stilted performance artist who is dressed up from head to the bottom of her stilts in lush, tropical foliage.  You will find her on the path between Asia and Africa, but you might have to look closely to see her.  She typically hugs pretty close to the equally as lush foliage along the path.  She is fascinating, though, and if you can take a few minutes to look for her while you are rushing from one thing to the next, it's well worth the time.

    Have a great time!
