since our kids are young we were thinking of keeping them on the ship while we do a dolphin excursion. how long can we leave them and can they be fed while we are away?

    Ahoy, Archibald!
One of the many reasons my family chooses to cruise with Disney Cruise Line is the unparalleled youth programming available on all four vessels. My kids have grown up experiencing all the imaginative fun offered in the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab. In fact, I can hardly get my son to leave even when it's time for them to close down for the day!
The day your ship is in port, you'll find that the youth clubs will open up around the same time the ship docks so you'll be able to head to shore after your sailors are checked in for hours of enjoyment with the best youth counselors at sea. They can stay as long as you are ashore and lunch and dinner are both served daily for all those checked in during these hours. They will have an absolute blast, and you'll be able to enjoy your time ashore with the dolphins!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Archibald! We are always happy to help so please keep us posted if you have any additional questions.
    Have a magical day!
