Ahoy, June!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've asked a great question about age requirements for the youth spaces onboard Disney Cruise Line. The secured programming offered at the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab is designed for Guests ages 3-12 who are potty trained. This is for safety reasons as the Youth Counselors cannot provide assistance in the restrooms. But, the good news I can share with you is that these areas offer Open House hours every day, which your two can experience together as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Open House times will be listed in your cruise newsletter or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Free play and exploration are available along with some scheduled activities that will be listed in the newsletter so you can plan ahead. I would definitely plan on checking out
"it's a small world" nursery! after you embark because your younger Mouseketeer may end up loving this space. Although, the Oceaneer Club and Lab is included in your cruise fare, the nursery is an additional charge and does require reservations.
June, there will be
many activities for your sailors to enjoy together including the Character greetings, family crafts, first-run movies, dance parties, deck parties, the sports deck,
the water play areas and much more! It really is a vacation like no other.
Thank you for sailing by, June! If you think of any other questions, please let us know
