Dear Laura,
Thanks for reaching out to us here at Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and congratulations on your pregnancy!
First and foremost,
Walt Disney World Resort wants
everyone to be safe while enjoying the attractions there, and that especially includes pregnant women!
After safety, of course, is having fun with your family, and you will find plenty of ways to do that. In addition to pregnancy-friendly attractions, there are shows (take a break from the heat in the AC!) and entertainment that is open to all. Think of some fun questions to ask the characters during character meet and greet experiences, like "What should I name the baby?" or "Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" You might get some hilarious responses!
If you find yourself getting worn out and you need a break from the heat, pregnant women are more than welcome to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located in each of the four theme parks! I highly recommend those.
Be sure to bring snacks and also be sure to hydrate frequently (did you know that you can get free cups of ice water at quick-service dining locations around the parks?), and wear your comfortable walking shoes.
I love the idea of taking a "babymoon" with your older kids to enjoy the time before their sibling arrives!
Have a magical time planning!
