Hello, our kids will be visiting their aunt and cousin in Southern California this spring. She is a resident and plans to take them Disneyland. Can she purchase their tickets with the SoCal discount?

Hey there, Heather! Thank you for your question.

It sounds like your kids are scheduled to have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth this spring. Many of my favorite childhood memories come from Disneyland Resort, such as my first ride at Disneyland, the Astro Orbitor.

If your kids are not California residents living full-time in ZIP codes 90000-93599, they will not be eligible for the SoCal Resident Tickets. However, your kiddos will still get to enjoy the resort with their aunt and cousin, just not with the discounted rate as non-residents.

Now, it sounds like you will not be visiting Disneyland Resort yourself, so I suggest you start brainstorming souvenirs you may want to be sent your way. The World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District is one of my favorite places to go when looking for keepsakes to send to others, and they have some of my favorite theme park shirts and sweatshirts.

    Best wishes,
    Lola
