Welcome to planDisney, Todd! We know that planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can seem overwhelming at first, and that is why we are here! PlanDisney panelists are regular Guests who have been there, done that (many times over!), and are here to offer their best advice for YOUR vacation.
To help you plan your vacation, check out this
planning guide for parents with little ones. PlanDisney also has a
video library with plenty of tips, as well as the
Panel Extras section with additional information.
Standard rooms at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels accommodate 4 or 5 Guests, plus a child under age 3 in a crib. My recommendation for your family of 7 would be Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Family Suites feature decor from Finding Nemo, Cars, or The Lion King and have a separate bedroom, two full bathrooms, and a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Family Suites are also available at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Family Suites accommodate up to 6 Guests plus a child under age 3 in a crib.
Other options for larger families include cabins at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and
Deluxe Villa accommodations. I assure you families with babies, toddlers, and school-age children are welcome at all Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
I suggest
browsing resort options to decide the best fit for your family, and then visit us at planDisney again with any additional questions you may have. We are happy to help you plan every step of the way. If you'd like to speak with a Disney reservations agent about
planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, give them a call at (407) 939-5277.
Happy planning!
