My kids (8/5) have been saving their money to buy the little extras themselves on our trip this June (special drinks, souvineers, etc.). I know the ship is cashless but they pride themselves on making their own purchases. Anyway to make this work?

    Ahoy Jaime!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I love that your future cruisers are saving up their money to indulge on special purchases on your June sailing.  My family has done this in the past and my kids have enjoyed picking out and "paying for" their own souvenirs in the shops onboard.  Even though the ship is cashless, you can use cash to pay off your onboard charges.  Here are a couple of ideas that may work for your crew.
When you link a credit card to your account during online check-in, there will be an option to give your children charging privileges.  If you allow them to charge to their Key to the World card, it will be easy to keep up with their small purchases.  At any time during your sailing, you can stop by Guest Services to obtain an itemized print out of all charges for each card.  You can also allow your kids to accompany you so they can hand over their cash to be applied to their card.  (Onboard charges aren't charged to your credit card until the end of your sailing.)  If you don't want them to have charging privileges on their cards, they can make their purchases on your cards as well.
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Jaime!  If I can help you further, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
