    My kids (8 and 6) will be running the Mickey Mile on Jan 6th. How far is the ESPN Centre from the Crystal Palace. What is the best route to take and how much time should we budget to get between the two?

    Hi Karla!

    I've had the chance to check out the kids events at ESPN and I can tell you they are top-notch!

    The ESPN Wide World of Sports is about 20 to 25 minutes from the Magic Kingdom (where Crystal Palace is located).

    Buses to not run directly from the Magic Kingdom to ESPN however. Unless you have a rental car, the quickest and easiest way would be to take a Taxi from the Ticket and Transportation Center (or you could walk to the Contemporary and take one from there).  However, this would be an out of pocket expense to you.

    To use Disney Transportation you'll want to first travel to either Pop Century or Caribbean Beach by bus. From there, buses run to the Wide World of Sports Complex.

    If you are taking a taxi or driving, I would plan on about 45 minutes of travel time. If you'd like to use buses, I'd increase that to 1.5 hours.
