    My kids and I have a reservation for Port Orleans Riverside coming up. I know the check-in time is 3pm, but can we use the resort amenities (such as the pool) earlier in the day prior to our checkin time? Thanks

    Hi Caroline,

    You're going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! It's so peaceful and dreamy!

    I'm happy to let you know that yes, you are welcome to enjoy all of your Resort's amenities and recreation opportunities from the beginning of the day you check in all the way through the end of the day you check out. My family often arrives early and we simply change into our swimsuits in the lobby restrooms and enjoy the Resort pools until our room becomes available.

    I'd encourage you to ask for a Recreation Calendar when you check in as there may be some fun games or activities going on. You'll also find that Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside has some unique special opportunities for fun, too.  Did you know there's a catch and release fishing spot? Or that you can rent a surrey bicycle? If you'd like to ease into your vacation, feel free to relax on a scenic carriage ride along the Sassagoula River. There are tons of opportunities for your family to enjoy an entire day of fun at your Resort hotel! And don't forget that Bell Services would be happy to watch your bags for you while you're off enjoying your first day of vacation!
