My kids have received some pins that are iffy if they are authentic. I know the main things to look for but just can't tell if they traded real. Is there any where you can go to check authenticity? I don't want them disappointed if try to re-trade.

    Hi Jessica,

Thanks for stopping by with another excellent question! My wife and I have started Disney Pin collections for our kids, but none of us have gotten into the trading part of it yet. We like to collect new Disney Pins during each visit to Walt Disney World and keep them on display to remind us of the fun we had. According to Disney Pin Trading Etiquette, "The main criteria to judge whether a pin is tradable or not is that it must be a metal pin bearing a '©Disney' mark on the back that represents a Disney Event, Place or Location, Character or Icon." You can read more about Official Disney Pin Trading here. Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
