For my kids, will they also need to show proof of residency? Or just the adults?

    Hi Amber,

You're heading to the Disneyland Resort! Are you practically bursting with excitement and anticipation? I'm so excited that The Happiest Place on Earth has reopened and our Disney dreams can come true once again!

During this first phase of the reopening, theme park admission is restricted to California residents only. Guests may be asked to show proof of residency at the gate, so you'll want to bring a photo ID or an official document that proves you live in California. Because kiddos don't usually have these documents, you won't need to worry about providing any proof of residency for them. As their parent, you'll be able to vouch for them. If your visit happens to be mid to late June or later, you won't need to worry about any of this, though, as Disney has removed the California residency restriction beginning June 15th!

As you think ahead to your visit, I'd encourage you to read the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page. It's full of wonderful tips about what to expect during the phased reopening.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Amber! I'm sending pixie dust that you and your Mouseketeers have a truly magical visit together and make memories to cherish for years to come!
