My kids are going to be 2 and 3 in May. I usually use my double jogging stroller (which fits through standard doors), my questions 1. Will I have a problem getting on the monorail with it? 2. Are strollers usually safe to leave at the parks?

    Hi Jenny,

What a great age for your children to visit Disney World. They will be amazed by all the magic and wonder around them.

Yes you will be able to take your double stroller with you on the monorails and Disney buses. We did it often when our boys were younger. The monorail does open wide enough for you to load the stroller without folding it. The only problem you may experience is limited space during the "peak travel times" like park opening and closing. You will need to fold the stroller in order to load it onto the buses.

We have never had a problem leaving our stroller, diaper bags, backpacks and other items out in the parks while we enjoyed a show, attraction or meal. There is plenty of stroller parking throughout the parks and Cast Members are often present at the stroller parking locations if you have any questions or concerns. We actually had our son forget his backpack on our most recent trip. The backpack contained his pin collection, Disney dollars and his brand new DSi. Much to his delight, it was returned within an hour. I think you will find your stroller quite safe during your visit.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
