My kids love animals. What time does Kilimanjaro sarafis open? online it says 8:00 am but I thought the park didn't open until 9:00 am. We wanted to try to get there first thing for the day we are spending at animal kingdom. Thanks!

Hi, Nancy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again!

I took a look at the background information you provided us when submitting this question so that I could double check park hours for the week you plan to visit. Current published hours for Disney's Animal Kingdom Park do show a 9:00 a.m. opening every day that week for all Guests. However, what I think you may be seeing is the earlier opening on Sunday and Wednesday for morning Extra Magic Hours. Each day, designated Disney theme parks open either an hour early or remain open an extra two hours as a benefit for Guests staying in one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The attractions  that are available during morning Extra Magic Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park are popping up on the days I checked as open at 8:00 a.m. Every other day that week, they are showing a 9:00 a.m. opening. Regular park hours often change, sometimes even mid-day, so keep an eye on the website or mobile app in the weeks and days leading up to your trip, just in case something changes!

I hope this helps you during your planning, Nancy. Please stop by again if you have more questions for us.
