Greetings, Michelle.
Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, in just a few days' time, it's off to
Walt Disney World Resort you go! Are you ready to soar with Dumbo, sail the high seas with swashbuckling pirates, and take a safari around the African savanna? I bet you can hardly contain your excitement!
I'm glad you stopped by with this oh-so important question and am pleased to report that life jackets are provided at all
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, including
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Additionally, lifeguards are often present at the
Resort's pools (subject to availability and pool hours). This means your momma heart can relax a bit knowing your child will be as safe as can be while splashing the day away. Plus, that's one less thing you need to pack in your luggage, which leaves more room for souvenirs!
Speaking of souvenirs, be sure to spend some time at
Disney Springs during your trip for some of the best souvenir shopping on property.
World of Disney has anything and everything your imagination can think up or heart can desire, but my favorite place to peruse is the
Marketplace Co-Op. It has an eclectic assortment of items from home goods to essentials for your furbaby and stylish dresses. I can never seem to leave without purchasing an artwork postcard or two from the
WonderGround Gallery inside. After working up an appetite with all that shopping, you'll want to refuel. I recently dined at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and was blown away by their hospitality and delicious grub. You have to try their Okra Fries! Trust me, they're amazing! For a sweet ending to your Disney Springs adventure, pick up dessert from somewhere like
Sprinkles or
Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC.
Michelle, I hope your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is practically perfect in every way. Enjoy every moment of the
50th Anniversary Celebration festivities and the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Please stop back by planDisney if we can help answer any more questions for you along the way.
See ya real soon,
Alyssa
