Hi Skylain,
Having an annual pass to Walt Disney World as a kid is one of my favorite memories growing up. My mother would take us regularly after school and we loved visiting the theme parks as often as we could. I loved it so much that I still visit as often as possible even though it isn't as convenient as it used to be.
While date-based tickets are slightly cheaper for children than adults, the
price for an annual pass is the same regardless of age. The only exception is that children under the age of 3 do not need a ticket to enter the parks so they are essentially free. As a Florida resident, you have several options available in terms of buying an annual pass. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, and Disney Sorcerer Pass are all affordable options for Florida residents only that include discounts of up to 20% on select dining and merchandise, reservation-based admission, and optional monthly payment plans. Each one of these passes does have specific dates where admission is not available so make sure to check the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar before you purchase so that you get the option that works best with your schedule.
There are so many benefits to being an Annual Passholder, but my favorite is the
discounts offered on special events and hotel rooms. Even if you live in Florida, sometimes you need a little getaway, and the room rate discounts make that so much more affordable. You can also get discounts on a round of golf or a specialty behind-the-scenes tour!
Happy Planning
