    My kids will be 6 and 8 when we go. Right now we are going to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Do you think they kids would get much out of the other parks? We are going on the Disney cruise after so I don't want to over do it.

    Welcome to the Moms Panel, Jean!  I know your family must be super excited to be visiting Walt Disney World before sailing on a magnificent Disney Cruise! I think Magic Kingdom Park and DIsney's Animal Kingdom Park are both excellent choices for the ages of your children! As a mom of four children ranging in age from seven to fourteen, I would also highly recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios for your upcoming trip. Although my family enjoys Epcot as well, my seven-year-old-twins actually prefer Disney's Hollywood Studios as they don't fully appreciate the World Showcase at Epcot quite yet. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, don't miss Toy Story Midway Mania!, The Great Movie Ride, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Fantasmic!, my absolute favorite show at Walt DIsney World!  I do understand your concern in not wanting to exhaust the children prior to the cruise; however, I personally don't feel three park days would be too much. When planning your itinerary, I would recommend scheduling Disney's Animal Kingdom Park second (if visiting three parks) since it traditionally closes earlier than the other parks. This will allow the kids to get to bed a little earlier on your second day of park touring. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions.
