    Kids are both 5. This will be there first time to Disney. 9 days and counting! Wondering if there is anything special that can be done, i.e. a character phone call to home or resort (staying at Art of Animation) before/during our stay? Who can I call?

    Hi, Lucy! Wow! Your vacation is almost here! It's just a few days away now, but I think I have an answer for you that won't take too much time away from your packing and preparations. I don't know of a way to schedule an actual live call, but the automated Disney's Enchanted Calls service is available. It may be just what you are looking for to surprise your little ones.  Check out the link that I have embedded for you.  You can choose you character, your theme, arrange the time and day for the call.  To announce an upcoming trip, choose the encouragement theme. Then, on the next page you can select "upcoming trip" from the drop-down list.  Be aware there is a nominal fee. The fine print states, "Must be 18 years of age or older to order a call. Open to residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). Currently, calls are not available to residents of WA, KY, MS, NE, TN and LA." Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
