Hi there, Mary-Kate! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
It sounds like you are looking for a little grown-up magic time during your next Walt Disney World vacation and I am happy to help! There are a few options that will keep your little one safe, happy, and entertained while you enjoy some
quality couple's time at the spa. There are some age restrictions on these options as well as other requirements, so you will want to be sure to check these out when deciding which best suits your needs. I also highly recommend making any reservations around 60 days in advance, to ensure availability.
The first option is
In-Room Babysitting, provided by the independent childcare provider Kid’s Nite Out. With this option, there will be one-on-one babysitting, including arts and crafts, activities, reading and playing games within the comfort of your resort or hotel room. With prior arrangement and permission, the sitter can take your child to explore the resort area and participate in the resort’s offered activities (with some exclusions such as any water activities). In-Room Babysitting is offered for children 6 months-12 years of age.
The second option would require you to travel to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel for the children’s activity center
Camp Dolphin. Here your child can participate in fun activities with other children. Camp Dolphin currently operates from 5 p.m. until midnight, so your spa reservation would need to be within this time frame. This camp is for potty-trained children 4-12 years of age.
The third option would be to utilize the super fun and adventurous
Captain Hook’s Pirates Crew offered at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Here your child will learn how to be a proper pirate, learning the many skills necessary for life on the high seas. Captain Hook’s Pirates Crew is offered nightly from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with drop-off as early as 4:30 p.m. This activity is also offered for potty-trained children 4–12 years of age.
Whichever option you choose, I hope it allows for some rest, relaxation, and magical time at the spa while your child still has the time of their life!
