The kids’ clubs on Castaway Cay say ages 3-12 for Scuttle’s Cove and 14-17 for the teen hideout, so where can my 13 year old go?? Thanks!

    Welcome aboard, Leah!

Kids of all ages have special venues just for them both onboard the ship and at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. My 13 year-old will tell you that your 13 year-old will certainly not be left out of the fun! Onboard, he or she can enjoy the fun in Edge, the tween club. And at Castaway Cay, the Teen Hideout is the spot for tweens and teens. Sure, it's called the Teen Hideout, but tweens are not left out.

Be sure to check out the schedule of events for your Castaway Cay day in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. There's a line for Edge, and you'll see that on Castaway Cay day, there are a few times when "Invade the Teen Hideout" is listed. That's the time for your child to meet up with his or her new friends from the club and the cool Youth Counselors to hang out for a game of sand volleyball or other fun activities in this remote sandy spot on the island. There are also set times when the Edge group will meet up for Pelican Plunge waterslide fun together and even an island scavenger hunt.

Your 13 year-old is in for the time of his or her life, Leah! Have such an amazing cruise!
