My kids are ages 6 and 4. With the new policy/the addition of "specially guided activities for children ages 3-4 years old" at the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, would my kids be allowed to spend time together in the Club/Lab?

Ahoy Kimberly, thanks for sailing by planDisney!

From your sail date, it looks like you are preparing for a Dream of a cruise. I love the Disney Dream; it is one of our family's favorite ships because her mascot is Donald Duck (our family's fave!), and she's got the AquaDuck, the best waterslide at sea!

The Oceaneer Club & Lab is one of the most magical places on the ship. The fantastic crew members are real-life Mary Poppins and make sure the littles have all the fun while keeping them safe and sound. I think you're referring to the special programs the Club has for the youngest Oceaneers. They get to do activities with other littles that are age-appropriate and keep them safe. These activities happen alongside the other kiddos, and they are all in the same area, so your 6-year-old will be close by!

When my twins were 4, and their sister was 6, we went on a Very Merrytime Cruise. I went to pick them up and saw my daughter in an exhilarating game of four-square/dodgeball. I asked her where her brothers were, and she said, “hold on! They went down the secret tunnel (a secure walkway between the Lab and the Club), and I'll get them!” In less than 2 minutes, her brothers were back in tow, and to be honest, they were upset that their sister had taken them from story time with Cinderella! So, while the older kiddos played games, the littles had private storytime.

Your kids will have plenty of time to play with each other and make new friends! Don't forget that there are also Open Houses during the cruise where you (and other members of your crew) can go and explore with the kiddos! Just check the Navigator app for dates and times.

    I wish you smooth sailing!
