Hi Jason,
Thanks for paddling over to planDisney! Your question is a great one! I know how much siblings enjoy exploring the
Disney Oceaneer Club and Disney Oceaneer Lab together and how helpful it can be for younger ones to have an older sibling nearby.
One of the fun features of these spaces is that children, ages 3-10, can move between them. The Oceaneer Lab features fun learning activities, while the Oceaneer Club allows kids to explore all sorts of adventures in a safe place. For children ages 3-4, there are special activities just for them led by the amazing Youth Activities counselors. I confirmed with a Disney Cruise Line Shoreside Cast Member that these age-specific activities and areas offer an additional activity for the younger sailors and are optional. Siblings, ages 3-10, are welcome to play with each other throughout the youth activity spaces. So, your little buccaneers can enjoy time together!
Jason, there are so many
activities onboard for kids, so while yours are enjoying their special time, I hope you take advantage of all the
adult-exclusive options. One of my favorite
adult places to escape to is
Quiet Cove Pool. I like to grab a frozen mocktail or cocktail at
Signals Bar or
Currents Bar (depending on which ship I'm sailing) and relax poolside by reading a book or just soaking up the sunshine.
You are just days away from your vacation! I know you and your family will enjoy every moment. Please let us know if you have other questions before you sail away.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
