We have 5 kids under the age of 7, one of which is a very active almost 2 year old. I plan to keep her in a toddler carrier on me for most of the trip. Will I be allowed to keep her in the carrier when we go on rides like Kilimanjaro Safaris?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "toddler carrier." If you mean a backpack style carrier, then no, you would not be able to keep your child in the carrier while riding on an attraction. You and she would both be very uncomfortable and not very safe.

If, on the other hand, you mean a front-style carrier, you would be able to keep your daughter in this on an attraction. We had Baby Bjorn carriers that we used during several WDW trips with our twins. I did go on several rides with one or the other girls in the carrier. I don't specifically remember the Safari, but I do remember going on Small World, the Jungle Cruise, and Peter Pan like this. I think you'd be fine with a front carrier on any ride that didn't have a height restriction or a close-fitting lap bar. (The Safari does not have a close fitting lap bar).

I hope you have chance to get some "me time" during your vacation. There are sitter services available at all the WDW resorts. You deserve to relax a little on your trip too :-)
