. Will I kick my self if we don't have dinner reservations every night. We have a breakfast with charaters and dinner one night. We will be there 6 days and have dining plus plan. We don't want to have to rush from one place to another for dinner.

    Hi Cathy,

We certainly don't want you kicking yourself-would not make for a good vacation.

Most of the Disney World restaurants are very popular and have a tendency to fill up quickly. I always think it is a great idea to book your dining reservations in advance and then make changes later if needed. Changes can always be made even after your arrival, with few locations having any penalties.  You did not mention your travel dates, however many of the most popular dining locations will often be full during the time around lunch and dinner. If you are traveling with a smaller party size or do not mind eating early or late, you may find it easier to obtain a table as a walk-up guest, however you may need to be willing to opt for your second or third dining choice to find availability.

Given that you have chosen the Deluxe Dining plan, you will have a number of table service credits to use daily. It would be better for you to choose at least a few more nights and make advance reservations now to ensure you are able to dine where you want to and not where there are openings on that particular day. If you are uneasy about working off of a schedule, choose to make your reservations at various times throughout your vacation. We often switch off and make late dinner reservations one day but later lunch plans the next. With the amount of walking you will be doing, it is nice to know you have a scheduled time to sit down and relax and enjoy a meal out of the sun ad heat before continuing on with the fun.

    Wishing you a magical time!
