Hi!! I have a keys to the kingdom tour on November 3 at 8:30 am. The park doesnt open until 9 that morning. Where do I have to go to check in for this? Also, would we be able to take pictures in front of the castle before the park opens? Thank you!

Hi, Katie! The Keys to the Kingdom tour is such a great experience for any Walt Disney World Resort fan. I had the privilege of taking this tour last year and learned so many fascinating tidbits from our Tour Guide. I loved being able to pull back the curtain and see how some of the magic is made for so many wonderful Guests each day.

When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, head to the far left bag check and Mickey touchpoints. There will be a Cast Member holding a sign for Guests entering the park before official opening for Advance Dining Reservations and tours. Have your confirmation number handy, as they do check these before you scan your theme park ticket to enter at the touchpoint. Once you enter the park, head to the Chamber of Commerce building, adjacent to City Hall, to check in for your tour. This building is located to the left side of Town Square, just inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney's PhotoPass Photographers are usually not stationed along Main Street, USA, until just prior to park opening. The earliest I have stopped to have a photographer snap a lovely family picture in front of Cinderella Castle is 8:45 a.m. However, do take a quick peek as you enter the park to see if one is waiting to spread some early morning pixie dust. You can also ask other nearby Guests if they would mind taking a quick picture for you with your camera.

I hope you have a magical day, Katie. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
