Hi Petch, and welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re planning a visit during “The Most Magical Time of the Year!” How exciting! I’m so happy to help with your question about
Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour...it’s truly something every Disney fan should experience at least once.
I last took this tour when my youngest turned 16, and he was absolutely blown away by all the Disney lore and behind-the-scenes magic. I completely understand why you’re eager to book it! You can book the Keys to the Kingdom Tour up to 60 days in advance as part of Disney’s Enchanting Extras Collection. These tours often sell out quickly, so I definitely recommend booking as soon as your window opens. A quick tip...if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting 60 days before your check-in date. Off-site Guests can book 60 days before each individual park day. You can make reservations through either the
My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website.
Right now, the guest-facing calendar only shows dates through the first week of December. That’s simply because tours are only released about 60 days ahead, so you’ll start to see late December and early January dates appear once your window opens.
When I spoke with a reservations Cast Member today, they mentioned that the schedule they can see currently only runs through about the third week of December 2025. It’s possible the tour may pause briefly during the busiest holiday week, though in past years, it has sometimes continued through New Year’s. In fact, one of my fellow panelists,
Prince, looked into this last holiday season and found that the tour was offered during that time. So don’t lose hope just yet!
While you’re waiting to see if those dates appear, I also recommend catching
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Once Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party wraps up for the season, the parade is
usually shown during regular park hours from late December through December 31. It’s an absolute must-see if it’s offered during your visit!
I’m sorry I can’t give you a definite answer yet, Petch, but I
HO-HO-HOpe this helps you plan ahead a little!
See ya real soon,
Eean
