How does the Key to the World work? Is it on a lanyard? Can it get wet or is it a typical credit card?

    Ahoy Mary!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  When you arrive at the cruise terminal, you will be given your very own Key to the World card for your magical voyage!  This card will serve as your stateroom key, photo card, credit card and ID for embarking and disembarking the ship.  All your onboard purchases will be placed on the card and all your photos will be linked to this card as well.  On the front of the card, your table number and dining rotation schedule will be listed for your convenience.  It is not on a lanyard, but lanyards are available for purchase in the shops onboard.  Since you will need your Key to the World card wherever you go, it is a good idea to pick up a lanyard when the shops open once the ship sets sail.  My husband has left his card in his bathing suit pocket, and it still worked onboard.  You can stop by Guest Services at anytime if your card stops working for any reason or if it gets misplaced.  They will be happy to create a new Key to the World for you.
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel with your question, Mary!  Please let us know if you have any other cruise questions before you set sail for your cruise adventure on the high seas with Captain Mickey!
    Have a magical day!
