    Can I have a key to the world card and a magic band

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! It sounds like you're planning for an exciting trip to the Disney Parks early next year! Well, you've come to the right place. We'd be happy to help you out, so let's start by going over Key to the World Cards and MagicBand+.

    Kelly, from your question, I'm unsure which Parks you're going to be visiting on your trip. I'm a Disneyland specialist but I'd be happy to go over what your options are at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

    • Key to the World Card: these cards may be requested free of charge from the front desk of your Resort if you are a guest at an official Disneyland Resort Hotel or one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. They make great souvenirs and also function as your room key. Incidentally, they are known as Key to the Magic Cards at the Disneyland Resort.
    • MagicBand+: if you will be visiting Walt Disney World and are a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, Bands may be purchased up to 10 days before arrival for a special pre-arrival price. If you are visiting the Disneyland Resort, you'll need to order through shopdisney.com or purchase at these locations throughout the property. Please note that only MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort at this time.
