Welcome to planDisney, Christine!
Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a few days away? I'm sure you must be taking care of last-minute travel details so you are all set and ready to enjoy the magic of the
50th Anniversary Celebration.
As someone who NEVER begins a Disney day without a cup of coffee (well, any day for that matter!), I understand just how important this question is. The type of coffeemaker you'll find in your room will depend on your room type and where you are staying. In general,
Value and
Moderate Resorts will have dual-sided single-serve brewers that use flat coffee pods that look like round tea bags. Standard rooms at
Deluxe Resort Hotels will have Keurig brewers, while
Deluxe Villas will include standard full-size drip coffeepots. With dozens of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and thousands of rooms, there are a few exceptions to the categories I've mentioned. Feel free to write back and let us know where you'll be staying, and we'll be happy to tell you what type of coffeemaker you can expect to find. All rooms are supplied with coffee filter packs or K-cups as well as creamer and sweeteners, which will be replenished by
housekeeping. If you find yourself running low during your stay, just dial housekeeping from your in-room phone and request extra coffee supplies.
If you are in need of a coffee fix while out and about, you'll find Starbucks and Joffrey's Coffee at all theme parks and Disney Springs. If you have the chance, stop by
Le Petit Cafe, a lovely little coffee shop in the lobby of
Disney's Riviera Resort. I'm a huge fan of their Cinnamon Cold Brew, and the pastries there are delicious!
Christine, I am wishing you the most magical vacation! Please stop by and see us again anytime. We are always happy to help.
