How do you keep your stuff (cell phone, camera) dry on Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids? All suggestions are welcome.

I often have a few large ziploc bags with me. For Splash Mountain, I find that popping my camera and cellphone in the ziploc is perfect for keeping everything dry. The outside of my backpack or bag may get a bit damp, but not overwhelmingly so.

Kali River Rapids is another story. Every time I go on this ride (which I love, by the way) absolutely everything with me gets soaked. There are "waterproof" storage bins in each ride vehicle, but I have not found that they provide sufficient protection. The strategy I've developed for Kali involves plastic bags from the Disney gift shops. Go into any shop and ask them to give you two of the largest size merchandise bags they have. I have found cast members to be very nice about this. Put your entire bag or backpack in the plastic bag. Tie it. Then - upside down - put that bag into the second plastic merchandise bag and tie it. This allows no water to get in from either end, keeping everything dry while you enjoy the attraction.

    Have fun getting wet!
