I keep seeing all the posts and information about the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. My question is, is it going to be a regular ride or a roller coaster? Thanks for all your magical advise and answers.

    Hi Joan -

I'm so excited for this new New Fantasyland attraction to open!

Disney is keeping many of the details of the attraction under wraps until the ride is complete, so we don't know fully what's behind all those construction walls. However, many fan sites have show photos of the building process and those do indicate that there will at least some roller coaster elements to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The most recent report is saw was a discussion of whether a certain track configuration indicated whether there would be one drop or two in a portion of the ride. However, I don't have a sense of the intensity level of the attraction. My guess (really, really only a guess) is that it will be more like a Big Thunder intensity than an Everest intensity, but I don't know for sure.

Stayed tuned in the coming weeks and hopefully we'll have more to share soon.
