Hi there, Emily!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is one of my favorite
Walt Disney World resorts - so much so, that when it first became available as a
Disney Vacation Club resort, we purchased points right away. Part of the appeal of the resort to me is that you do take a walk out of the Central Florida vacation scene, and you are transported to your own African adventure. It's just the best of two incredible vacation worlds.
I'm not going to sugar coat the distance, but I do want to say that part of the appeal of the resort has to do with the sprawling savanna. With animals right outside your window at many of the resort rooms, there had to be some pretty decent space from end to end. Also know that you are unlikely to ever have to walk the full distance.
If you start at the very tip of the northern end of the hall and go all the way to the southern end, you will find the distance to be about 2/3 of a mile. No one will ever need to take that walk, unless you've got two rooms booked and you ask to be as far apart from each other as you possibly can. From the north wing to the bus stop, which is in the south wing, or from the pool in the north wing to the south wing, your farthest walk is about 1/3 of a mile.
The coffee makers are your standard drip coffee makers, with a basket filter. The room starts you off with one pre-measured packet of coffee.
I hope you have an awesome stay at this beautiful resort.
Anna
