I keep seeing comments about "checked luggage" does this mean that our luggage will be getting checked somewhere else and not in our room? How does this work? I looked in the luggage FAQ section but couldn't find anything regarding this?

    Ahoy, Brooke!
Thank you for cruising back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. Only carry-on sized luggage will be able to go through the security machines at the port, so your larger suitcases will be delivered to your stateroom during the first afternoon of the cruise. If you are taking Disney Cruise Line ground transportation, your luggage will be delivered from either your Disney resort or the airport to your stateroom for you. If you arrive at the terminal by car, shuttle or taxi, you will leave your luggage at the curb with a porter. Either way, you will want to pack any items you'll need the first afternoon (passports, medicine, bathing suits, sunscreen, etc.) in your carry-on. On my family's past cruises, we always have our bags by 5:00 p.m. or before. It's hassle-free and nice to not have to worry about transporting the larger bags through the corridors! Once the suitcases arrive and you have them unpacked, they will fit nicely under the bed.
Thank you for continuing to use the Moms Panel, Brooke! Keep the questions coming!
    Have a magical day!
