How to I keep items chilled for transport on excursions? Baby formula, food, milk, etc?

Welcome aboard, Mandi! It sounds like you're planning a magical cruise with Disney! There is so much to experience when you set sail on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew, from onboard experiences to amazing Port Adventures.

Guests are not able to take food or drinks off the ship or back on from ports of call unless it is pre-packaged and unopened. Your best bet is to plan on buying snacks and drinks in port unless you bring your own pre-packaged snacks and drinks from home, which is always allowable. Unfortunately, although you could carry a small soft sided cooler off the ship with an ice pack (but not ice cubes), due to different agricultural laws in the different foreign ports, typically it is not advisable to take it off the ship as you may not be able to bring it back on.

My best suggestion for this situation, as I understand you will be traveling with an infant, is to purchase some of those individual-serving pre-packaged powdered formula packs. Then, in port, purchase bottled water to use to make any bottles necessary, or bring unopened bottled water with you off the ship. When my kiddos were little, those individual tubes of pre-packaged, one serving formula was great and very convenient when we were traveling, plus they didn't need refrigeration. You'll find quite a few shops and restaurants in each port where you'll be able to purchase any other drinks or snacks you might need. But, as I mentioned, perhaps tossing a few pre-packaged snacks or foods in your day bag would help save some money and time in port too.

I hope that information helps as you continue to plan, Mandi!
