Hi Kathy, I just read your post about the FQ being your favorate MH. I am coming in 20 days and am staying at the POR. I have 2 kids, did I make a mistake? Is it a lot of walking? Should I request a building so that I do not have to carry my 5 Y old?

    Hi Derrin!

I don't think so! If I wasn't planning on staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, I'd go for Riverside - so no worries at all!

Riverside is a much larger resort, but it has several areas which are very close to the main lobby, restaurants and bus stops. Personally, I'd suggest requesting a room in building 14, 15, 16, 18 or 27 (in that order) in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort OR Oak Manner and Parterre Place in the Magnolia Bend section of the resort.

All of the above buildings are close to the facilities, lobby, restaurants and the Ol' Man Island pool complex.

If you'd like to add a room request to your reservation, call 407-939-7675 or contact your travel agent. Room requests are just requests, and aren't guaranteed, but I almost always have good luck. Be sure to let the check-in Cast Member know that you had a request as well - hopefully they'll make sure you get a great location!

Hope this helps! Have a great vacation!!
