    Hi there. I jus booked a vacation for me and my 8 yr old son, on Sept. 23-30, 2012. I. His birthday falls on Sat., Sept. 29, 2012. I would like to do something really special for him that day. What would you recommend?

    Walt Disney World is the perfect place for a birthday celebration! Be sure to pick your son up a complimentary "Birthday Celebration Button" either at your Walt Disney World Resort or at Guest Relations, located at any of the parks.He will love all the "Birthday Wishes" that he'll receive all day! I know just the thing to make his "big day" extra special! At The Pirate's League, located in the Magic Kingdom, kids select a pirate style and receive a makeover and training from the League's veteran pirates.Guests will get a new name, learn some swashbuckling maneuvers and, after taking the official Pirate League Oath, they will be prepared to march in the Parade of Pirates in Adventureland. Reservations can be made by calling (407)WDW-CREW. A birthday celebration is never complete without a special "Birthday Meal!" May I suggest 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort or Whispering Canyon Café at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a fun, lively atmosphere!
