chEARs Susan, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are heading to the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival over Labor Day weekend, and I have a budding Top Chef in my house, so I couldn’t wait to resEARch your question.
So far, the Junior Chef Kitchen is not scheduled for this year, but there are plenty of other
fantastic family-friendly options! We are super excited to learn how to roll sushi-inspired sweets at
Candy Man-Style Maki. Every day of the Festival at 3:30 pm & 5:30 pm, candy fans can sharpen their itamae skills at Candy Sushi in
Sunshine Seasons. I’m hoping our creations taste somewhere close to the
Frushi that I fell in love with at Hanami in the
Japan Pavilion during the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. My daughter is excited to demonstrate her
culinary skills and the twins? Well, they’re in for the SUGAR! You can book this experience online or by calling (407) 939-3378.
If you have a
chocolate-lover, make sure to indulge in The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to Bar-Hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. You get to sample deliciousness, purchase gourmet drinking chocolate while filling your bag of gourmet chocolates. The adults can get in on the action by selecting a wine and chocolate pairing!
When you need to burn off the sugar,
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt is the perfect prescription. We loved doing the Eggstravaganza Hunt Easter weekend, and I’m sure Remy’s is très magnifique! You get to search for Remy throughout the
World Showcase, and when you’re done, a magical surprise awaits - complements of the Chef!
Susan, make sure to keep an EAR out at
Disney Parks Blog. They will be the first to announce if your Top Chef will get to show off their skills at the Kitchen this year. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to “chop” back!
