Hi Richard,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to assist with your ticket dilemma. First, I'm glad to hear you were able to purchase your preferred tickets for your upcoming visit. There is so much magic awaiting you at
Disneyland Park and
Disneyland California Adventure Park, I just know you'll have an incredible time.
Now for some less-than-magical news. Unfortunately,
theme park tickets are non-refundable. Though you likely won't receive a refund for your first mistaken ticket purchase, I am happy to share that the value paid for that ticket should still be available to apply to a future visit as long as it is wholly unused and not expired.
I wish you had brought your question to us sooner because I could have directed you to
contact a Disneyland Resort Cast Member by phone for assistance in applying the amount paid directly to your newly purchased ticket. But not to worry, Richard! You can still reach out to a Ticketing Cast Member at (714) 781-4636 and they'll be happy to guide you on how to apply the value to a future visit.
It's never hard for me to keep coming back for more magic visit after visit, so I bet you'll find just the right reason to return to Disneyland Resort. Whether it is to experience the
Holidays at Disneyland Resort, to sample unique food offerings available during
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, or to enjoy a limited-time experience like the recently wrapped
"Rogers: The Musical," there's always something new to experience!
Richard, I hope you'll find your perfect pixie-dusted reason for a return visit. If we can answer any additional questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
