Hi there, Liset! Strollers are always a hot topic here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and we appreciate you bringing your question to us!
Just this morning, the Disney Parks updated their list of
Property Rules including strollers, effective May 1, 2019, to help with Guest flow and congestion. As long as your stroller is smaller than 31” (79cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long, you should be good to go. If you have a double stroller, don't fret, as many brands will fit these new requirements, but I'd recommend measuring it before your trip to make sure. Also, note that stroller wagons will no longer be permitted in the Parks. Umbrellas are a perfectly acceptable item, so you should be fine with using an umbrella attachment for your stroller as long it doesn't obstruct sidewalks or entryways.
My family often travels to "The House of the Mouse" in the summer, so I have other suggestions if you're looking for ways to beat the heat. First of all, make sure to arrive at the Parks early, and do most of your touring early in the morning (Disney fans refer to this as being there at rope drop). If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, take advantage of Morning
Extra Magic Hours which allows Guests to enter the Park an hour early. In the afternoon, return to your resort hotel for a swim in the pool or a nap. My kiddos love going to the water parks in the afternoon-
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is their favorite, and there's plenty to do for little tykes. I also make sure to pack a cooling towel for each member of our family- Frogg Toggs is my go-to brand, and they're readily available on Amazon.
I hope you have an extra magical trip this summer, Liset!
